How to beat stage 10-30
Stage 10-30 is the Cool Mint wall. It is a positioning fight, not a Combat Power check — here is what the community has converged on.

Verified as of ·Patch launchStage 10-30 is the first hard wall most players hit, and it is the most-searched stage in the game by a wide margin. The boss is Cool Mint Cookie.
It is a positioning problem, not a power problem
The consistent theme across community writeups is that raw Combat Power is not what clears this fight. Cool Mint moves, and if your squad is spread out it will drift away from your damage while your team chases it.
The fix people converge on:
- Drag your whole squad into the top-left corner at the start. With less room to move, Cool Mint stays inside your damage area.
- Let Cool Mint come to you, and keep the adds grouped nearby rather than splitting off.
- After a knockback, hold to regroup immediately — do not let the squad stay scattered.
- When dodging area attacks, return to the corner afterwards rather than fighting from wherever you land.
Roles that keep coming up
| Role | Cookies named | |---|---| | Single-target boss damage | Scorpion, Vampire | | Damage buffing | Pomegranate | | Damage reduction | Nameless Cake Hound | | Healing / sustain | Herb | | Defence reduction | Devil, Dark Choco | | Add control | Milky Way | | Optional support | Skating Queen, Cheesecake |
Worth noting how well that lines up with our own data: Pomegranate supplies Projectile Speed and Herb supplies Volley — two of the seven synergies, on a roster where only 18 of 71 cookies supply anything at all. A boss team built from these names is picking up synergy providers almost by accident.
If you are timing out rather than dying
Community advice splits cleanly on the failure mode:
- Timing out — you need defence reduction and more boss damage. Devil and Dark Choco are the named debuffers.
- Dying — you need the sustain and damage-reduction half: Herb and Nameless Cake Hound.
For upgrades, the repeated advice is to put Gold into Resolve before re-attempting, and to unlock and equip Sugar Runes if you have them. Build the core jobs — debuff, sustain, ranged damage — before chasing extra synergy slots.
What we have not verified
We have not cleared this stage ourselves, and Devsisters publishes nothing about stage composition. Everything above is community consensus, reproduced with sources. Cool Mint's actual mechanics — attack telegraphs, enrage timers, add spawn timing — are not documented anywhere we could find.
Check your comp against the Team Builder — if a skill on your squad wants a synergy nobody supplies, it will tell you before you burn another attempt.
