How to beat stage 30-30

The late-game wall. By chapter 30 the fight checks sustain, synergy coverage and support investment rather than raw carry damage.

Stage 30-30 is the late-game wall, and it fails players for different reasons than the early chapters do. Community writeups describe it as a sustain-and-positioning check rather than a damage check — under-levelled supports and weak synergy coverage get punished about as hard as a weak carry.

The stated requirements

  • Team power at or above the stage's recommended threshold
  • At least three active synergy types on the team
  • A main tank with DEF-oriented gear, at the recommended power level
  • A support levelled comparably to your tank — not left behind
  • Main attacker skills levelled, not just the cookies
  • Enough survivability to live through one full boss rotation

That third point is the one our data speaks to directly. Three active synergies on a twelve-cookie team is not automatic: only 18 of 71 cookies supply a synergy at all, and Range and Duration are the most contested — 18 and 14 cookies respectively want them, against 4 and 3 providers.

Composition shape

| Slot | Job | |---|---| | Main tank | High DEF / HP, DEF-oriented gear | | Off-tank or bruiser | Add control | | Two damage dealers | Complementary elements | | Dedicated support | Healing and shielding | | One to two synergy enablers | Supply what the rest of the team consumes |

Cookies repeatedly named for this stage: Oven Wanderer (TSSR, versatile carry), Wind Archer (TSSR, single-target pressure), Cream Puff (SSR, sustain and utility) and Dark Choco (SSR, enemy DEF reduction).

Positioning

  • Keep backline attackers and support separated, so one area attack cannot hit both
  • Move the tank in arcs to control which way the boss is facing
  • Dodge telegraphed attacks rather than tanking through them
  • During add phases, put the off-tank between the boss and your support

Diagnosing your failure

The most actionable line in the community advice: if you survive but time out, swap a defensive filler for a Pierce or Chain provider, or level your main attacker's skill. Pierce and Chain each have only two providers in the whole roster — Rockstar and Strawberry Shortcake for Pierce, Skating Queen and Lime for Chain.

Upgrade priority given is support gear first, then attacker skill levels, then Duration, Volley and Pierce/Chain synergies.

What we have not verified

The boss's identity is not stated in the source we found, and no mechanics are documented. This is community consensus, not tested advice.
